Anthony L. Schumann
Principal
Anthony L. Schumann concentrates in several areas of stateand federal litigation. Mr. Schumann has extensive experience representing corporate, governmental and individual clients during all stages of the investigation and litigation process.
During his distinguished career, Mr. Schumann has participated in well over 150 civil and criminal trials and evidentiary hearings. Prior to his founding Grant Schumann LLC, Mr. Schumann gained his extensive courtroom experience as a trial lawyer with the Office of the Cook County Public Defender, as a partner of Duckworth & Schumann, P.C., and as the principal attorney of Anthony L. Schumann, Ltd.
In 2005, Law and Politics asked Illinois attorneys to name the best lawyers they have personally observed in action. As a result, Mr. Schumann was honored by being selected an Illinois Super Lawyer.
Mr. Schumann was the Chair of the Solo & Small Firm Committee of the Chicago Bar Association for 2007 - 2008. He also has recently been a speaker, moderated and servedon panels at various conferences focusing on diversity in the legal profession, solo/small firm practice, and construction subcontractor agreements. Mr. Schumann is a member of the Illinois Bar, United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and United States District Court for the Central District of Illinois
Mr. Schumann also is available to represent clients in all stages of internal criminal, employment and regulatory agency investigations.
