Brett M. Scheive

Mr. Scheive concentrates in the areas of real estate,bankruptcy, governmental liability, white collar criminal defense and commercial litigation.

Prior to Grant Schumann, Mr. Scheive received his Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law in Chicago, Illinois, where he graduated Cum Laude. While at DePaul, Mr. Scheive served on the board of the Public Interest Law Committee.

Mr. Scheive attended Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona, where he graduated Cum Laude from the W.P. Carey business school with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance.

Mr. Scheive worked for several years in the areas of finance and real estate, including work as a financial analyst for a successful Real Estate Investment Trust and several years in commercial lease administration.

Mr. Scheive is a licensed member of the Illinois Bar and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
